Welcome to O’Shea Quality Homes.  We are a building company based in south Kilkenny. We not only provide services to clients within the immediate area but also throughout the Southeast area.

We realize everyone needs a helping hand when agreeing on build size, sourcing materials, planning, budgets so no matter how big or small your building project is (private residences, renovations, and home extensions), we’re here to help you and offer our expert advice and opinion.

Our projects, a few of which are included below showcase our professional and quality work is undertaken. Throughout the build you can expect, timely, accurate updates together with a very transparent progress report on budget/costs. The initial quote provided will be very detailed and thorough ensuring we can meet your vision of a quality build to the highest standards.

Our team has the experience and know-how built up over the last 30 years in all aspects of construction.  We can offer our client a project management format whereby our team will deal with all aspects of the build on behalf of the client.  This format will be ideally suited where the client wishes to construct their home using the ‘Direct Labour’ process.  In this format O’Shea Quality Homes will

1. Manage initial site set-up
2. Manage or carry out all ground works up to ground floor level including all drainage and ground works
3. Manage all sub-contractors
4. Manage all materials required for the build
5. Manage all payments to sub-contractors and suppliers
6. Program the build so that the project is built to a reasonable deadline
7. Liaise with client on all design and structural variations
8. Maintain site in a safe and tidy manner for the duration of the build

Our team can offer a complete build where the client home is built by O’Shea Quality Homes on a price based on drawings supplied by client.  In this format, O’Shea Quality Homes will

1. Carry out all site set-up and groundworks
2. Carry out all structural works, blockwork, roofing, electrical, plumbing and plastering.
3. Liaise with client on all major decisions such as colour choice of materials, window selection, electrical and mechanical fittings
4. Agree a reasonable and fair pricing program based on construction progress
5. Carry out all snags to the clients satisfaction

O’Shea Quality Homes can carry out all extensions and renovations as required by the client.  This will be carried out on price agreed with the client based on drawings supplied by the client.  This will include;

1. Carry out any demolitions and site clearance
2. Construct all works to the clients satisfaction

Due to the ever increasing demand O’Shea Quality Homes are pleased to offer a complete retro refit of existing homes.  This service is particularly relevant to a home that need to improve its BER rating by increasing its energy efficiency and improving it overall cost efficiency.  We only use S.E.A.I accredited engineers to design and carry out all works using the most modern energy saving technology.  We can also help with all grant applications necessary to carry out the works.

With over 30 years of experience in construction our team leader has built up a vast array of knowledge. We have worked on all projects from private one-off house to large estates. We have a proven track record in health and safety. Our policy is to carry out all works to the very highest standard only using highly skilled tradesmen.
